Football track jackets for kids
Purpose of Training Jackets
When your child plays football, it’s essential that their muscles are warm at the start of training or a match. Cold muscles are much less flexible than warm muscles, increasing the risk of muscle tears. That’s why a proper warm-up is necessary, but wearing a training jacket also helps keep the muscles warm. It’s advisable to keep the training jacket on during the warm-up. This keeps your child’s upper body warm. When the upper body is warm, it’s easier for the rest of the body to maintain its temperature.
After training, it’s equally important that the muscles cool down gradually. Make sure your child puts their training jacket back on immediately after the training or match. A cooling-down session is also a good idea. This allows the muscles to cool down gradually, significantly reducing the risk of muscle soreness.
Additional Features
Some training jackets not only keep your child’s body warm but also protect against rain. These jackets often include a hood to prevent rain from running down your child’s neck. Even though the jacket repels rain, it still allows sweat to be released to the outside. This ensures your child’s body is optimally protected from moisture.
When choosing a training jacket, consider whether it has pockets, elastic cuffs, and/or a hood. Most training jackets feature a full zip closure, but there are also jackets with a half zip. Most training jackets are made of flexible, lightweight, and breathable fabric.
