Hockey clothing
Clothing for Every Season
Hockey is played all year round, so you need to be prepared for different weather conditions. It is important to adjust your clothing to the weather. When it is cold, you need to make sure your body warms up properly and stays warm, while in the summer, your clothing should help cool your body down.
Clothing Requirements
Not all clothing is suitable for playing hockey. Hockey clothing should be made of flexible materials to ensure comfort and allow free movement. It should be made of breathable fabric that effectively wicks away sweat—synthetic fabrics have this property. The clothing should not feel uncomfortable, be too tight, or cause friction, as this can restrict movement and affect performance.
Clothing in Cold Weather
When it is cold, athletes often opt for a thick sweater. However, we recommend wearing multiple thin layers. The air trapped between the layers provides insulation and retains heat better than a thick sweater. It is also important to wear a tracksuit before and after training to keep your muscles warm and prevent them from cooling down too quickly, reducing the risk of injury and muscle soreness.
Tip
For the best freedom of movement, it is important to order the right clothing size. Check the size chart for the correct fit. Please note that sizing may vary by brand.
