What tennis accessories are there?

Tennis accessories can be divided into accessories that are necessary for playing tennis such as tennis balls, water bottle, and grip for your tennis racket, and accessories that make your time on the tennis court more enjoyable such as sweatbands and tennis caps.

Tennis Balls

Tennis balls are obviously necessary for playing tennis, without a tennis ball, no tennis. There are different types of tennis balls. The choice depends on what you prefer and on which court you play. You can choose between pressureless and gas-filled tennis balls, besides affecting your performance, it can also help prevent (arm) injuries.

Don't forget to hydrate enough and protect yourself from the sun

Drinking during sports is not a luxury, so always bring a water bottle. Did you know that you can lose 1 to 2 liters of fluid per hour while playing tennis? So, keep drinking! Do not put lemonade or sports drinks in your water bottle, water is the best option. And then you also have to deal with different weather conditions. Besides adjusting your tennis clothing accordingly, it is also advisable to wear a tennis cap in sunny weather. It protects your skin from sunlight and also prevents you from looking directly at the sun, which can hinder your game.

The best grip for your tennis racket

Another accessory you shouldn't forget is the tennis grip. You can choose between two different types of tennis grips, namely the base grip that wraps around the handle of the tennis racket and overgrip that is mainly used over the existing base grip. It makes playing tennis much more enjoyable because this addition provides optimal grip and cushioning on your racket. Still have questions about tennis accessories?
