Swim trunks
Swim trunks are streamlined tight swim trunks. Swim trunks come in different models and colors. Slips, boxers, and jammers offer little resistance, which promotes swimming performance. In addition, they are not out of place on the beach or in the pool. We are happy to explain what to look out for when purchasing swim trunks.
Tight swim brief
The swim brief is a sporty tight model swim trunk and has the advantage that it offers less resistance than, for example, swim shorts. That's why the swim brief is often worn by competitive swimmers. It is important that the swim brief fits well. If the pants are too tight, they can pinch, while they can slip down with a size that is too large. Note that the swim brief will loosen when it gets wet.
Most swim briefs are equipped with a drawstring. Furthermore, some briefs have a UPF sun protection factor. In the product descriptions, you can find out what properties the respective brief has.
Technologies
Some brands apply a special technology when making the swim brief. For example, Speedo uses the Endurance10 technology. This technique ensures a better fit and gives you a soft and comfortable feeling. Endurance10 is 100% chlorine resistant and quick-drying. Arena applies the Waternity technology, making the swim brief feel soft and have a good fit. The swim brief is also chlorine resistant.
Tip
If you are traveling abroad, keep in mind that in some swimming pools only a swim brief may be worn and not swim shorts. Check this before you leave.
