The Right Coach Jacket

The players on the field warm themselves up, but what about the coach, the assistant referee, and the substitutes? They stand still more often than they move, so they get cold. A coach jacket protects them from the cold. The jacket helps keep the muscles warm, so when it's time to get back on the field, you're not doing it with cold muscles. Additionally, it’s simply very uncomfortable to be cold, and the coach jacket helps prevent this.

Benefits of a Coach Jacket

Coach jackets offer several benefits. Most coach jackets are windproof and water-resistant. They often provide good thermal insulation. Some coach jackets come with a hood that may or may not be detachable. Another thing to look for is whether the jacket has pockets.

Tip

Many teams have coach jackets worn by the whole team. Choose a larger size so that everyone can fit into the jacket. Also, it’s more comfortable if the jacket is a bit longer or larger, allowing for more clothing underneath!
