Swim shorts
Before starting a swim training session or a water polo match, you can wear swim shorts over your swim boxers or briefs. Also great if you simply don't like close-fitting swimwear! But what should good swim shorts offer?
Material
Most swim shorts are made from polyester. This material is lightweight and keeps its colour and quality for a long time. It also dries fast, making it perfect for swim shorts.
The different brands offer swim shorts for both men and kids. The mesh liner adds extra comfort, and most shorts have two side pockets. The elastic waistband with drawstring keeps them fitting well around the body.
Tips
Swim shorts also come in handy if you spend a long time in a pool hall (out of the water) during training and competitions. It's often warm there, and many swimmers prefer not to walk around constantly in tight swim boxers or briefs.
