Which football boot is right for me?
Boots with fixed studs aren't always suitable for the same surfaces. The shoe name is followed by two letters, FG (Firm Ground), MG (MultiGround), TF (Turf Ground) or AG (Artificial Ground). Do you only play on artificial turf? Then go for the TF or AG turf shoes. When you play on normal grass, it's best to choose FG boots fixed stud, and if you play on both artificial and natural grass, MG boots are your best choice.
Boots fixed stud come with either elongated studs or round studs. Elongated studs give a bit more grip, while round studs make it easier to make short, quick turns. It's down to personal preference which you choose.
Boots fixed stud usually have 12 to 14 studs. Fixed studs are made of soft plastic, which reduces the risk of injury to players who get hit by the studs, compared to shoes with steel studs.

To make the boots last as long as possible, it's important to maintain them well. Clean them regularly and let them air out after use.
