Against wind and rain

Windbreakers protect your body when it's windy or raining. Windbreakers can be worn all year round. Both in summer and in winter there can be a cold breeze or rain. Besides blocking wind, the windbreaker also keeps out (light) rain. In the colder months it's important to make sure you're wearing enough layers underneath the windbreaker so you don't get cold.

Windbreakers made from lightweight material

The material a windbreaker is made from is lightweight. Windbreakers are often made from a synthetic material that's able to block wind and rain. An elastic waistband and elastic cuffs make sure rain and wind can't get in. The jackets generally have a hood, which is often rolled up in the collar so it doesn't bother you if you don't want to use it. The pants usually have short zips at the bottom of the legs. This makes it easy to put the pants on and take them off over your shoes.

Washing instructions

To make sure the important properties of the windbreaker aren't lost, we recommend washing the windbreaker according to the washing instructions. You can find these instructions on the label inside the windbreaker. In any case, don't use fabric softener.

Tip

Is it very cold outside? Then make sure you wear enough layers to keep your body at the right temperature. A base layer is one of those layers and its main function is to keep your body dry and at the right temperature.
