Protection Against Wind and Rain

Windbreakers offer protection for your body when there is wind or rain. They can be worn year-round. Whether it's summer or winter, a cold breeze or rain can occur. In addition to blocking the wind, a windbreaker also keeps light rain out. In colder months, however, it's important to ensure you wear enough layers under the windbreaker to stay warm.

Windbreakers Made from Lightweight Materials

Windbreakers are made from lightweight materials. They are often constructed from synthetic fabrics that are capable of blocking wind and rain. An elastic waistband and cuffs help prevent wind and rain from entering. These jackets typically feature a hood, which is often rolled into the collar so it won’t bother you if you don't need it. The pants usually have short zippers at the bottom of the legs, allowing the pants to be easily pulled on and off over your shoes.

Washing Instructions

To ensure that the essential properties of the windbreaker are preserved, we recommend washing it according to the washing instructions. These instructions can be found on the label inside the windbreaker. Be sure not to use fabric softener.

Tip

Is it very cold outside? Be sure to wear enough layers to keep your body warm. A baselayer is one of those layers and its primary function is to keep your body dry and at the right temperature.
