Shortsleeve football shirts
What Should a Short-Sleeve Football Shirt Meet?
A shirt should provide freedom of movement so that you are not hindered during training or matches. This allows you to fully focus on football. While playing, your body produces sweat, and the shirt must wick away this moisture as quickly as possible to stay dry. A short-sleeve shirt is ideal for wearing in the summer. In winter, you can still wear short sleeves by layering a long-sleeve thermal shirt underneath.
Which Fabric Is Suitable?
Cotton is a comfortable fabric to wear, but it does not wick away sweat effectively. This makes the shirt wet and heavy. We recommend choosing a football shirt made of a material that can efficiently wick away sweat, such as polyester. A combination of these materials is also suitable for football.
Various brands use their own special technologies to wick away sweat even faster. For example, Nike uses Dri-Fit technology, and Adidas employs ClimaLite technology. Both provide excellent comfort during sports activities.
Tips
Prevent sweat from soaking into the shirt by washing it promptly after use. If you wait too long, the odor may become impossible to remove.
