To determine what helmet size you need, you can measure the circumference of your head (above the eyebrows) with a tape measure. Then, consult the size chart of the respective product to determine which size to order.

Fit of the skate helmet

It is very important that the helmet fits well to ensure proper protection for your head! Many skate helmets have an adjustable closure system, allowing you to adjust the helmet to be tighter or looser. To check if the helmet fits well, you can shake your head a bit; you will then feel whether the helmet is tight enough or still too loose. The helmet should not be able to move!

What should a skate helmet meet?

A skate helmet is lightweight and has good ventilation. All skate helmets have a chin strap, which you can use to secure the helmet even better! To check if the chin strap is tight enough, you can nod your head; if the helmet stays in place, the chin strap is good!
