Choose the Right Backpack

First, ask yourself what you will use the backpack for. Then, you can determine the size you need. The volume of a backpack is measured in liters. The more liters, the larger the backpack. Most backpacks have adjustable shoulder straps with soft padding, making them more comfortable to carry.

Types of Backpacks

Backpacks come in various types and sizes. These bags are often used as school bags. They don’t need to be excessively large, but they should be sturdy enough to carry a few books. Finally, there is the travel backpack, which allows you to carry items for extended periods. These backpacks are much larger than standard backpacks. Different Compartments

Backpacks and travel backpacks feature various compartments. Every backpack has a main compartment, the largest section where most items can be stored. Some of these main compartments have an additional section for storing a laptop. Many backpacks also have a front pocket. This is a small pocket on the front of the bag, ideal for storing accessories. The latest backpacks feature a small compartment on the top of the bag, which closes with a zipper and is perfect for storing small items like keys or a pack of gum.

The sides of backpacks are often equipped with one or two mesh pockets. These open compartments, made of material with holes throughout, are ideal for carrying bottles. On the front of many bags, such as those from the brand Dakine, you’ll find elastic cords. These are useful for attaching items like a skateboard.

Material

Most backpacks are made of polyester. Polyester is a smooth, lightweight, durable fabric with a soft feel. It is shape-retentive, maintains its color well, and lasts a long time. Additionally, polyester dries quickly. It is strong, making the bag capable of carrying heavy loads.
