Make sure your child wears sliding shorts in the same colour as the football shorts during matches. No other colour is allowed to show below the team shorts. This isn't checked very strictly, but it isn't allowed. If the shorts are a different colour, make sure the sliding shorts stay out of sight.
Washing instructions
It's important to wash sliding shorts soon after playing football. This gives sweat little chance to soak into the fabric, keeping the material supple. Follow the washing instructions, so the shorts' important features are preserved. The instructions are printed on the label on the inside of the sliding shorts. Don't use fabric softener, and hang the shorts on a drying rack to dry.
Tip
Have your child try on the sliding shorts with the football shorts on top. This way your child can properly check whether both shorts fit comfortably.
