Football shorts for kids
A well-fitting football short makes all the difference during a match. Check out the kids' range from Nike and Adidas.
Strong and durable
A football short takes quite a beating and therefore needs to be made from strong material. Your child needs to be able to move freely in the shorts. It's a good idea to jump around, run a little and kick a leg in the air while trying them on. This way your child can tell whether the shorts fit well. It's also important that the shorts are made from material that can wick away sweat, so your child's body stays feeling dry and comfortable. It's a bonus if the football shorts are made from lightweight material. Something else to look out for is whether the shorts have a waistband with drawstrings. The shorts can then be adjusted so they keep fitting well.
Tip
After training or a match, football shorts probably aren't very clean anymore. Grass stains, among other things, shouldn't be given too much time to set in, so we recommend washing the shorts soon after playing football. The washing instructions are printed on the label on the inside of the shorts. Either way, don't use fabric softener and don't put the shorts in the dryer. This isn't good for their stretch and breathability.
