Football tracksuits for women
Stay warm before and after the match with a women's tracksuit from Nike or Adidas.
Why a tracksuit for women?
A women's tracksuit consists of a track jacket and track pants. You can wear a tracksuit when heading to football training or a match. It keeps your body warm and helps your muscles reach the right temperature. We recommend keeping the tracksuit on during the warm-up. If the temperature outside is good, you can take off the tracksuit after the warm-up. Put it back on during the cool-down, so your muscles don't cool down too quickly. Muscles cooling down too fast can cause severe muscle soreness. If it's chilly outside, you can also keep the tracksuit on during training. Cold muscles are more prone to injury. So make sure your muscles get and stay warm.
Polyester and woven tracksuits
Tracksuits for women to play football in should be made of breathable material. It's important that the suit can wick away sweat, so your body stays dry and comfortable. The tracksuits are divided into 'polyester' and 'woven'. In principle, all these suits are made of polyester, but the structure differs. The standard tracksuits are the polyester tracksuits. You can recognise them by the slight sheen on the fabric. A woven tracksuit is also made of polyester. These suits are woven and therefore thinner than the standard polyester suits. With woven suits, the yarns are woven tightly together, which gives a smooth, supple fabric.
Most tracksuits for women have track pants with short zips at the bottom of the legs. These zips make it easy to put the pants on and take them off without having to remove your shoes. The tracksuits also often have pockets, which may or may not be zippered.
Tip
To enjoy your tracksuit for as long as possible, it's important to wash it according to the washing instructions. These instructions can be found on the label on the inside of the tracksuit. Do not use fabric softener and don't put the suit in the dryer, but let it dry on a drying rack. This way you prevent the technical fabrics from being damaged.
