Unlike cotton, polyester is a very suitable material for making football shirts! Polyester is able to retain its colour and shape for a long time, it's a smooth material, it's hard-wearing and it's breathable. In short: an ideal material for sportswear and therefore also for football shirts!
Tip
Football shirts made of polyester dry quickly! When the shirt comes out of the washing machine, it's best to let it dry on a drying rack or clothesline. You'll see the shirt is dry again in no time!
