Women's Skating
Skateboarding
Skateboarding was originally invented by surfers who wanted to pursue their hobby in winter as well. Skateboarding mainly focuses on doing tricks, but long-distance cruising on a longboard is also becoming increasingly popular. A cruiser is actually a mix between a skateboard and a longboard, suitable for both performing tricks and covering longer distances.
Rollerblading
If you know how skateboarding was invented, it won't surprise you that rollerblades were invented by ice skaters who wanted to pursue their hobby in summer! Rollerblading can be done on rollerblades, inline skates, or roller skates. Rollerblades are great for long-distance rides, often having four or five wheels and are commonly used by professional skaters. Inline skates often have three or four wheels and are suitable for recreational skaters. Inline skates also have a brake pad, making it easy to come to a stop. Roller skates are often used to learn rollerblading, and are very popular among children!
Scootering
Scootering is often done by children in their free time, but scooters are also very popular for commuting! What's convenient about scooters is that you can easily take them on public transportation! If you have to walk a bit after your train and/or bus ride, you can take the scooter to scoot the last part!
