Your Feet

Before buying new running shoes, you first need to know your foot type. If you're unsure, click here to find out. Once you know, you’ll immediately know which running shoes are best for you. Wearing the right running shoes greatly reduces the risk of injuries.

Many runners have a normal foot roll, which calls for neutral running shoes. These shoes do not need to counteract foot tilt.

Hard or Soft Terrain

Your choice of running shoes also depends on the type of terrain you run on. Trail running shoes are designed for running on unpaved paths. These shoes provide excellent grip but relatively little cushioning. On paved surfaces, you’ll need more cushioning. For running on paved paths, choose the neutral running shoes from our selection. The amount of cushioning and the level of support can vary between different running shoes, which is described in detail in the product descriptions.

Tips

Sizing can vary by brand, so refer to the size chart to ensure the correct fit. When trying on shoes, wear the same socks you would use while running. Try on shoes in the afternoon, as your feet expand during the day.

By lacing your shoes in a particular way, you can prevent your feet from shifting inside the shoes. Check here for instructions on how to do this.
