What is Fleece?

Fleece is a lightweight and soft fabric, making fleece clothing very comfortable to wear. Fleece has the ability to trap and hold air, creating an insulating effect. Thanks to this insulation, fleece is a nice warm fabric to wear during winter sports! Additionally, fleece can wick away moisture, keeping both the fabric and your skin dry.

Cheap Fleece vs. Expensive Fleece

The prices of fleece jackets can vary widely, but what is the difference between the expensive and cheaper fleece jackets? More expensive fleece jackets often offer a bit more luxury and comfort, meaning you'll likely enjoy them more and for a longer time. Higher-end fleece jackets typically come with features like a high collar, well-fitted cuffs, a good fit, and two secure pockets. Cheaper fleece jackets often have a looser fit and lack well-fitted cuffs, increasing the likelihood of cold air getting underneath the jacket.

How to Wash Fleece?

Fleece is easy to care for. It can be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, but it's not recommended to put a fleece jacket in the dryer. Fleece generally dries quickly, so it doesn’t necessarily need to be tumble-dried.
