Why wear a ski hat during winter sports?

When it's cold, a lot of body heat is lost through the head. To keep yourself warm, you can wear a hat or beanie. These come in all sorts of colors, fabrics, and fun patterns. Of course, the hat isn’t just for winter sports—on a cold winter day in the Netherlands, you can wear it too!

For extreme cold, the Siberian hat is your best bet. It features long ear flaps that fasten under the chin, leaving only the center of your face exposed. The Siberian hat is lined with (faux) fur, providing excellent warmth.
