Water shoes
If you go out on the water with a boat or spend a day at the beach or a lake, you can wear special water shoes. Water shoes protect your feet from sharp stones, shells, and other objects in and around the water, allowing you to walk or jump into the water without hesitation. In addition, water shoes also prevent your feet from getting burned on the hot sand!
Did you know that there are places where you are not allowed (always) to swim? In some places, it is not only very dangerous, but it is even forbidden to swim.
Watersports clothing
What you wear during watersports depends on the weather conditions and what you are going to do. During a boat trip, it is nice to wear a breathable polo with shorts underneath. These shorts can be worn as swim shorts and as casual clothing. If you are going into the water, opt for a UV shirt. These UV shirts protect against the sun and dry quickly. These UV shirts are also very suitable for children to wear, so they are protected from the sun. In the assortment, you will also find sailing jackets. These sailing jackets protect you from the rain and/or wind during a boat trip. To safely go out on the water, we recommend wearing a life jacket.
If you are surfing, water skiing, or going into the water on a colder day, wear a wetsuit. This protects the body from the cold water and keeps the body temperature stable. Wetsuits are available with both short and long sleeves and legs. There are also wetsuits suitable for extreme cold. Read the detailed product descriptions to see for which temperatures the respective suit is suitable.
On the water
Various types of boards ensure that you stay afloat when going out on the water without a boat. Special SUP boards are suitable for Stand Up Paddling. Here you can stand and propel yourself with a paddle. If you are looking for a new SUP board, it may be wise to do some research! You certainly don't want to later find out that you have chosen a SUP board that doesn't really fit you and/or the activities you want to do with the SUP board. Choosing a SUP board requires some preparation.
The bodyboard is nice as a floatation device when swimming. For speed enthusiasts, you will also find fun tubes here that are specially designed to hang behind a boat. With an inflatable kayak or boat, you can take a trip on your own.
