Material
Most polo shirts are made of polyester or cotton. Cotton breathes well and is pleasant on warmer days, does not wear out quickly, but dries more slowly. Polyester is smooth, light and retains its shape, retains its color well, dries quickly and does not need to be ironed, but is less warm and can be static. Helly Hansen uses Tactel for breathable, moisture-wicking and lightweight shirts, with the Hydro Power technology for a UPF sun protection factor.
