Volleyball protection
Knee protection volleyball
If you make a dive or fall, chances are you will land on your knees. As a result, your knees naturally take a heavy blow. To prevent injury to your knees, it is wise to wear knee pads. Knee pads are made of shock-absorbing material, which significantly cushions the impact of the fall and reduces the consequences! In addition, the knee pads ensure that your knees do not touch the ground, preventing you from getting any nasty wounds!
Knee pads should not be too tight, but they should not be too loose either. Of course, they should stay in place properly during training or matches!
Arm protection volleyball
Although not every volleyball player wears arm protection, many volleyball players find it a nice addition to their volleyball outfit. Arm protection is available in the form of a sleeve or a band and mainly provides protection to the elbows. Like knee protection, much arm protection is equipped with a protective pad made of cushioning material. During volleyball, it is very common for your arms to go out in front of the rest of your body, so it is not surprising that when making a dive, you first catch yourself with your elbows. To prevent getting a wound, bruise, or fracture from such a dive or fall, it is very wise to wear good arm protection!
