Why Referee Accessories?

Certain accessories are essential for refereeing a match effectively. For instance, a football referee cannot do without a whistle, and to intervene properly, a set of yellow and red cards is important. Assistant referees need flags to indicate what is happening on the field.

What Can You Find in the Assortment?

As mentioned above, the whistle is essential. There are whistles with and without a ball inside. You can tell the difference by the sound they make. The whistle with a ball creates a buzzing sound, while the whistle without a ball produces a steady tone. It's up to you to decide which one you prefer. The advantage of a whistle without a ball is that it works under all conditions. The whistle with a ball can sometimes fail in cold or rainy weather.

Unfortunately, yellow and red cards are also essential for the referee. To prevent a match from getting out of hand, a referee may need to issue a yellow or even a red card. The yellow card serves as a warning, and after a second yellow card, the player must leave the field. If a player receives a red card, it means the player must leave the field immediately. The cards come with a storage pouch and a small notebook with a pencil to record fouls and goals.

Assistant referees only need a flag. These flags are yellow/orange and are striped to ensure they stand out, making it easy for them to communicate with the referee.
