How to wash a knitted sweater?
You shouldn't just throw a knitted sweater into the washing machine. Think carefully about the care of your sweater, because before you know it, it could be ruined. It's important to wash a knitted sweater at a low temperature. You can do this by hand or using a washing machine, but make sure to choose a short cycle. To preserve the colour and avoid fuzz, wash the sweater inside out. Some washing machines have a special wool programme; this is perfect for woollen knitted sweaters. If any fuzz appears on your sweater, you can remove it with a fabric shaver. And importantly, never put a knitted sweater in the dryer or wring it out. Let it dry flat, if possible.
