Features of a Bodywarmer

A bodywarmer is a padded, sleeveless jacket designed to protect against wind and cold. Since it has no sleeves, it allows for excellent freedom of movement. This makes a bodywarmer ideal for various outdoor tasks and sports. It's the perfect garment for "in-between weather" – when it's too warm to wear a full jacket but too cool to go out without an extra layer over your standard clothing. Bodywarmers typically have a full zipper and are often equipped with pockets. Some bodywarmers also include a hood.

Material

Most bodywarmers are made from polyamide. Polyamide is a synthetic fabric that is non-static, retains its shape, and wicks perspiration away from the body. It is a durable, strong, and lightweight material that dries quickly.
