Hockey pants

Pants for hockey from The Indian Maharadja, Reece and Osaka keep your muscles warm before and after sport, reducing the risk of injury and muscle soreness. Choose pants made of synthetic material like polyester if you'll also be playing hockey in them, as this releases sweat well. If you're only using the pants to stay warm around training, cotton is also a great, comfortable choice.

Why long pants?

When you play sport, it's important to make sure the body is nice and warm. Cold muscles are less supple, and if you're cold the risk of injury is therefore greater. After sport it's important that the muscles don't cool down too quickly. If muscles cool down too quickly, you'll suffer more muscle soreness. If your muscles cool down quickly and you make a sudden movement, this can cause muscle tears. So especially in autumn and winter, wear long pants before and after sport.

Playing sport in long pants

When the pants are used for playing hockey, there are a few factors to pay attention to. We recommend choosing hockey pants made of a synthetic fabric such as polyester. This fabric releases sweat, keeping the pants feeling light, dry and comfortable. Also pay attention to the closure of the pants. The pants must fit the body well and stay in place well. We recommend pants with an elastic waistband, combined with a drawstring.

Only to stay warm

If the pants are only used to stay warm before and after training or a match, they can also be made of cotton. Cotton is a fabric many people find comfortable. Cotton pants are also easy to put on.
