A delightful day at the beach, lake, or pool starts with good preparation! With the right clothing, flip-flops, and accessories, you're set for a relaxing day. We are happy to help you create a checklist for a pleasant day!
What to bring?
It is of course wonderful to go to the beach with family or friends! But it does require a bit of preparation, because what do you need to pack to be able to get in the car without stress?
Clothing
It goes without saying that you should wear swimwear or at least bring it with you! If it's very hot, it's wonderful to take a refreshing dip. Is the sun shining brightly? Then it's wise to also bring a UV shirt. With a UV shirt, you protect your upper body and prevent your skin from burning.
Flip-flops
If the sun is doing its best, the sand can get quite hot. A pair of flip-flops is definitely not superfluous on such days! Most flip-flops are water-resistant and dry in no time, so you can easily walk into the sea with them. Flip-flops with a rubber sole provide extra grip on wet surfaces, so they are also very handy to wear during a day at the pool!
Entertainment
Many children (and actually many adults too) find it difficult to lie still on a towel all day, so it's also useful to bring some entertainment! For example, a fun inflatable item provides hours of fun in the water. But you can also play fun games on the beach, petanque and badminton are for example very popular games during a day out!
Accessories
And of course, there are plenty of accessories that can make your day at the beach, by a lake, or at the pool a little more fun or relaxing! How about sunglasses to give your eyes some rest? Or a handy cooler bag to carry all the delicious snacks and drinks? Essential, right!?
Tip
It may seem obvious, but don't forget the sunscreen! It would be a shame if you all come home looking like lobsters after such a wonderful day by the water.
