Skateboarding

There are different types of boards to skateboard on, but the most well-known are the skateboard, the cruiser, and the longboard. A regular skateboard is mainly intended for doing tricks in a skatepark, the wheels are hard, and the base is very stable. A longboard is the opposite, as it is meant for riding long distances. The wheels of a longboard are soft, and the base moves lightly with the skater's movements, making it easy to steer. A cruiser is a combination of a skateboard and a longboard, making it suitable for both doing tricks and riding longer distances.

Rollerblading, skating, roller skating?

Terms are often used interchangeably, but what is the exact difference between these sports? You can rollerblade on inline skates, which have a brake block. These skates are particularly popular among recreational skaters, providing enough safety to confidently hit the road! If you are more experienced and want to cover longer distances, opt for rollerblades, which are more suitable for achieving higher speeds. And then there are roller skates, mainly used to get the hang of skating. You stand very firmly on roller skates, making it less likely for you to fall.

Scootering

Scootering is especially popular among children, but it is also practiced by adults! The scooter is a very popular means of transportation for commuting. Even if you have to take a short bus ride, the scooter can come along!
