How big should an air mattress be?
There are both single and double air mattresses from Highlander. What matters is which size air mattress fits your tent: for a small pop-up tent you'd better choose a thinner mat, for a roomy tent a thick double air mattress from Abbey works well.
Thick air mattress versus thin mat
A thick air mattress lies very comfortably and retains heat better. A thin mat has mainly practical advantages: it deflates quickly and rolls up small, ideal for taking along while backpacking.
