Why Fitness?

When you work out, you not only get fitter, but you also get stronger! If you exercise regularly, you’ll notice your body responds positively. For example, your circulation is stimulated, your blood pressure generally decreases, and your heart muscle gets stronger. Additionally, your mental health benefits from regular exercise; many people find it refreshing to clear their minds during an hour of working out. Another bonus is that exercise triggers the release of dopamine, also known as the "happiness hormone," which your body produces to reward you for your efforts!

Home Fitness

What could be easier than getting fit and in shape from the comfort of your own home? All you need to do is put on your workout clothes, and you’re good to go! You don’t have to worry about opening hours or weather conditions, so there’s really no excuse not to work out. If you find it challenging to create a good workout routine yourself, check the internet, where you’ll find plenty of workout schedules and videos for different levels and durations. And although gyms may have more fitness equipment than at home, that doesn’t mean you can’t target any muscle group. You can still do a great full-body workout without any fitness equipment!

The Gym

The gym has its advantages too! You pay a monthly subscription, which might motivate you to commit to two (or more) sessions a week. Many gyms also offer special classes, and some people really need that extra push to stay on track!

Gym vs. Home Workout

The most important thing is to choose the option that fits you best! Do you prefer working out in a quiet environment, where no one expects anything from you, and you can be yourself? Then create a gym at home. But if you get more energy from training on all the different machines and the gym is just around the corner, it might be better for you to head to the gym!
