Support

In summer it's wonderful to walk in slippers! Slippers increasingly feature a good footbed. Still, they don't offer the same support as shoes, so it's wise to alternate a day in slippers with a day in shoes.

Protection

Slippers offer protection against sand and dirt on the ground. They can also prevent you from getting athlete's foot at the pool or in public showers.
