Ski fleece for kids
Warm and Soft
Fleece is a wonderfully soft and warm fabric that works well as a second layer in your winter sports outfit. We recommend wearing a thermal shirt under your fleece. A thermal shirt wicks away sweat and keeps your body dry. Over your fleece, you can wear a ski jacket, which provides protection against snow, rain, and wind.
Fleece is an insulating mid-layer that helps to keep your body warm. It wicks away the sweat from the first layer and moves it further outward. The benefits of fleece are that it absorbs very little water, doesn’t sag, is lightweight, and dries quickly.
By wearing these three clothing layers in this way, you’ll ensure you don’t get too cold or too warm on the slopes.
Types
The thickness of fleece can vary. Additionally, there are fleeces that contain stretch for a comfortable fit. Fleece should fit snugly. Often, fleece is made with elastic around the neck, cuffs, and waist to prevent cold from entering these points. A lot of heat is lost through your head, so choosing a fleece with a hood can reduce heat loss during cold moments.
There are fleece vests and pullovers. The vests have a full-length zipper, while the pullovers have a short zipper.
Tip
Make sure to wash your fleece according to the care instructions. This way, you’ll get long-lasting use and maintain its functionality.
