Which paddle board do I need?

There are different paddle boards for children, each suitable for a different type of water. The all-round sup board has an oval shape and is suitable for both quiet ditches and waves at sea or a lake. The touring paddle board has a sharp nose and flat back, and is mainly intended for trips on calm waters. For advanced paddlers, there is the race sup board: narrower, with a pointed nose, less resistance and more speed, but also a bit more difficult to balance.

What accessories do I need for paddle boarding?

Many paddle boards are delivered as a complete set. The most important accessory is the paddle, which allows you to move forward and steer. The ankle cord is also indispensable: if your child falls off the board, it will not float tens of meters away. Often there is also a pump, storage bag and sometimes a fin for extra stability.

Tip

Always have your child wear a life jacket while supping.
