Children often love swimming. Whether it's swimming lessons for the swimming certificate or simply playing in the water on holiday, with the right clothing from Speedo, Nike or Protest your child can enjoy themselves worry-free.
The types of clothing for kids
For boys there are swimshorts in all kinds: swim briefs, swim boxers, jammers and swim shorts. For girls there are swimsuits and bikinis. Is your child going to swimming lessons? Then there are often rules: boys usually wear a tight-fitting swimming trunk and girls a swimsuit.
Confident in the water
The most important thing is that your child feels confident. The clothing must fit comfortably and sit well. Keep in mind that clothing becomes a little looser in the water, so don't buy it too big.
Most clothing is made of polyester. Polyester is lightweight, feels soft, dries quickly and keeps its colour and shape.
Care
Always wash clothing according to the care instructions on the label. Don't use fabric softener and hang the clothing up to dry.
