The Right Football Shoes

Football shoes with fixed studs are categorized based on the type of field they are suitable for. The two letters after the shoe's name indicate which type of field the shoes are designed for. The letters FG stand for Firm Ground, TF for Turf Ground, MG for Multi Ground, and AG for Artificial Ground. If your child plays only on artificial grass, you can choose TF or AG football shoes. If your child plays on both natural grass and artificial grass, MG football shoes are a better option. If your child plays mostly on natural grass, FG football shoes are the best choice.

Firm Ground football shoes can have either round or elongated studs. Round studs make it easier for your child to perform quick, short turns. Elongated studs provide slightly more grip. Fixed studs are made of soft plastic.

Maintenance

It is important to maintain football shoes properly. Clean the shoes after each training session or match using a soft brush. For football shoes made of synthetic leather, you can use water. Leather football shoes should not be held under running water. Always let the shoes air out after use.
