Benefits of slippers
As soon as the sun comes out, it's of course wonderful to walk in slippers! Slippers increasingly feature a good footbed, which makes most slippers very suitable for walking in all day. Still, they don't offer the same support as shoes; it's wise to alternate a day in slippers with a day in shoes.
Sole
The sole of slippers is often made of rubber, so you have grip even on a slippery pool floor! With rubber slippers you can prevent your child from slipping and hurting themselves. Many slippers also have a pre-formed footbed, which supports the feet as much as possible!
Straps
The further the straps run over the foot, the better the sandal stays on! Thongs often have two straps running diagonally across the feet, which makes these slippers stay on very well. Bath slippers often have a slightly wider band that sits quite far over the foot, so these slippers don't fall off easily either. Slip-ons go one step further; these slippers often even have a strap around the ankle!
