Kids Bath & Beach UV shirts
Why UV Clothing?
In, on, and around water, UV radiation is reflected by the water, increasing the risk of sunburn even more than when you are not near water! And although you didn't see many children wearing UV-protective clothing in the past, it is now (rightly) becoming more popular. There are more and more sunny days in the Netherlands, and children are therefore exposed to UV radiation more frequently.
Factor 50
Many UV shirts offer the same protection as a sunscreen with factor 50! The big difference is that sunscreen decreases in protection over time, whereas the protection of a UV shirt remains consistently the same. Even when you just come out of the water and the UV shirt has gotten wet, it still offers the same great protection!
Properties
Many UV shirts are made from nylon, lycra, spandex, polyester, or a combination of these. These materials are all water-repellent and quick-drying! So, after swimming, you are ready to play again in no time. In addition, UV shirts are elastic, making them very comfortable to wear.
Tip
Children's skin is very sensitive, so it is wise to apply sunscreen to the skin that is exposed to sunlight!
