Tennis Tracksuits
What is the purpose of a tracksuit?
A tracksuit consists of a track jacket and track pants. This is a multifunctional suit. It can be worn before, during, and after playing tennis. Additionally, it is also suitable as casual wear.
Tennis Suit
To prevent injuries, it is important to warm up before playing tennis. This helps loosen the muscles and warm them up. Especially when it's colder, we recommend doing this with a tracksuit on. Only take off the suit when the training or match begins. In tennis, there are also many moments when you stand still. If it's cold outside, we recommend playing (part of) the match or training in a tracksuit until you are really warmed up.
After playing tennis, it is important to gradually cool down the muscles, which reduces muscle soreness and keeps the muscles flexible. Therefore, put the tracksuit back on after the match.
What is the best material?
The tracksuits are made of a synthetic fiber, an example of this is polyester. These have the property of quickly absorbing and releasing moisture. So, if you sweat during tennis, the tracksuit, provided the underwear does the same, keeps you dry. This keeps the suit light, dry, and comfortable. A fabric like cotton is not suitable for playing tennis. This material absorbs a lot of moisture but does not release it. The suit then becomes wet and heavy, making it feel colder instead of warm.
Tip
Check the size chart indicated with the tracksuit for the right size. Note that this varies by brand.
