Inline Skates
Features
Inline skates are also sometimes called rollerblades, but there is indeed a difference between these two types! Rollerblades (nowadays also called speed skates) are characterized by having five wheels in a row and are originally intended for real racers. On rollerblades, you can reach high speeds! Inline skates often have three or four wheels in a row and are equipped with a brake pad on the back of the right skate. Inline skates also often have a higher boot than rollerblades.
Fitness Skates
Inline skates are often used as fitness skates as well. As the name suggests, these skates are designed to provide a nice workout! The size of the wheels of fitness skates is often between 9cm and 10cm. Here, the larger the wheels, the less energy it takes to travel long distances. The boot of a fitness skate should be comfortable and breathable, so you can fully concentrate on your performance!
