Running lighting and reflection for men
In winter it gets dark early outside and even in rainy weather you can be poorly visible to other road users as a runner. By wearing a reflective vest and an LED armband, for example, you stand out well and the chance of cyclists and drivers overlooking you is small.
Reflective vest
A simple but good solution to stand out better in the dark is wearing a reflective vest. A reflective vest doesn't emit light itself, but reflects light from, for example, car headlights or a streetlamp.
Running lighting
To be even more visible while running, you can choose to wear lighting. There are various types of lighting suitable for wearing while running, such as vests with lighting on them, an LED armband, and there are even light-up hip bags.
Tip
Especially in winter it can get dark early. Are you going for a run at the end of the afternoon? Then put on your reflective vest just in case and take your running lighting with you, even if it's still light when you set off.
