Indoor Hockey Shoes for Men

The surface indoors is naturally very different from the outdoor hockey field surface, so it makes sense that you need different shoes for indoor hockey. Often, the floor of the hall is a bit slippery, and to ensure that you don't just slip and fall, indoor hockey shoes provide extra grip! Additionally, it is important that the indoor hockey shoes do not leave marks on the floor. Although many indoor hockey shoes therefore have a light sole, nowadays there are also indoor hockey shoes available with a black non-marking sole. The floor of the hall is often much harder than the outdoor (artificial) grass, so it is also very important that the indoor hockey shoes provide good cushioning! In this way, the shocks are absorbed by the shoes and the chance of injuries is much smaller.

Field Hockey Shoes for Men

Field hockey shoes for men naturally have very different characteristics than field hockey shoes. For example, the soles of the field hockey shoes often have small studs, these studs ensure that you have optimal grip on the (artificial) grass field and that you are able to make short and quick movements. In the past, field hockey shoes were mainly made of leather, but with the advent of water fields, there has been a significant shift. Most field hockey shoes are now made of synthetic, water-repellent materials.

Tip

Do you mainly play on sand fields? Then choose a hockey shoe with long studs, so you have extra grip.
