Swim vests, armbands and swimming belts for kids
Many children love floating around in the water! But if they don't have a swimming certificate yet, it's wise to give your child a swim vest, armbands or a swimming belt. These swim aids are ideal tools for getting to know swimming.
Why use swim aids?
Children who can't yet swim independently often wear a swim vest, armbands or a swimming belt. These swim aids help the child to (partly) float and keep their head above water.
Material
Many swim aids are nowadays made of foam. The inflatable models are compact and handy for holidays. Foam models are comfortable to wear, which means children want to keep them on for hours in the pool.
Tip
Swim aids are only tools. If a child doesn't have a swimming certificate yet, they must always be supervised by an adult. Also always check the maximum user age and weight on the packaging.
