Field footballs for kids
Weight
For children, a ball that is too heavy can quickly lead to injury, so it is very important to choose a ball that is appropriate for the child’s age group. Children under 10 years old play with a ball weighing around 290 grams, children aged 10 to 15 use a ball weighing between 270 and 320 grams, and boys and girls aged 15 to 18 play with a ball weighing between 370 and 450 grams.
Material
The outer shell of a ball is usually made of polyurethane or PVC. For official competitive matches, a polyurethane ball is almost always used, as it is highly durable and resistant to all weather conditions. A PVC ball does not perform well in colder temperatures; it may change shape slightly and wear out faster.
Tips
There are also special balls designed for playing on the beach, perfect for vacations or a day by the sea!
