Firm ground football boots for women
Fixed Studs
Football shoes with fixed studs typically have more studs than shoes with screw-in studs, providing better grip on the field. Fixed stud football shoes perform best on dry football fields, but they also offer enough stability on muddy fields due to the (usually) 12 to 15 studs.
Abbreviations
In the name of a football shoe, you will often find two letters, which indicate the type of surface the shoes are suitable for.
- MG stands for Multi Ground, and these football shoes are true all-rounders. They can be used on both natural grass and artificial grass.
- FG stands for Firm Ground, and these football shoes are mainly designed for playing on natural grass, but they can also be used on artificial grass.
- If you play exclusively on artificial grass, it's best to choose shoes with TF (Turf Ground) or AG (Artificial Ground) in the name, as these are specifically designed for artificial grass!
Maintenance
The better you take care of your football shoes, the longer they will last! After training and matches, clean the shoes with a soft brush. If the shoes are made of synthetic leather, you can use a little water to clean them. Leather football shoes should be occasionally oiled to keep them supple. Once you're home, remove the shoes from your bag and let them air dry at room temperature. Never place your football shoes in the sun or on a heater! Heat can cause the shoes to shrink and damage the material.
