Artificial ground footbal boots for kids
Grip and Cushioning
Football shoes suitable for playing on artificial grass are marked with the letters AG. The main difference compared to football shoes designed for grass fields is the studs. Artificial grass football shoes have shorter, more numerous studs, providing sufficient grip and freedom of movement on an artificial grass field.
Using Grass Shoes on Artificial Grass
Some players use football shoes designed for grass fields on artificial grass fields. However, this is not recommended because grass shoes do not have the features that artificial grass shoes provide. Wearing the wrong shoes increases the risk of injury.
Football shoes designed for grass fields have longer studs. On natural grass, the studs sink into the field and provide good grip. On artificial grass, the studs cannot dig into the field, and that's why artificial grass requires different studs. If you wear grass shoes on artificial grass, there’s a risk that your feet may get stuck when you try to pivot or push off, potentially causing injuries.
There are also football shoes labeled with the letters TF and FG that are suitable for playing on artificial grass. TF shoes are designed for use on hard surfaces, while FG shoes are all-round shoes suitable for all types of surfaces.
Tip
It’s important that your child wears the correct size football shoes. Size may vary by brand. Check the size chart on the product to see which size your child needs.
After use, let the football shoes air out properly. They can be cleaned with a soft brush. Do not use water on leather football shoes.
