While it may seem warm for the players moving on the field, this is often not the case for the linesman, coach, and substitutes. A coach jacket ensures you don’t have to shiver in the cold while cheering on your teammates and keeps you warm. It also helps you avoid being freezing cold when you enter the field. Entering the field while cold significantly increases the risk of injuries compared to entering when properly warmed up.
