Ski Suits for Children
In our collection, you’ll find ski suits for boys and ski suits for girls. Children grow quickly, and they may outgrow their ski clothing after just one ski holiday. Therefore, it’s a waste to buy an expensive ski jacket and ski pants separately when you can get them as a set.
One-Piece Ski Suit
Children love playing in the snow and often end up rolling around on the ground. In a ski suit, the ski jacket and ski pants are attached, preventing snow from getting inside when they sit or roll in the snow. This helps keep children dry and warm. The jacket is easy to put on because the front can be fully unzipped. Additionally, the ski suit is warm and comfortable, as heat cannot escape between the pants and jacket. The ski suits come in various colors and fun prints.
Our collection also includes ski suits that consist of a ski jacket and salopettes. Salopettes are snow pants equipped with suspenders to prevent them from slipping down.
Well Prepared for the Slopes
When you go skiing, you naturally want to wear a ski suit that is warm and waterproof. The waterproof rating of ski suits is measured in water column, and you can find the different values in the overview below:
- 0 mm: A ski suit is water-repellent but not waterproof.
- 1,000 mm: A ski suit repels water but is not pressure-resistant. For example, if you sit on a wet chair, the suit will eventually leak.
- 2,000 mm: The ski suit remains waterproof even during longer snow showers but may leak under pressure.
- 5,000 mm: The ski suit withstands prolonged and intense weather; it remains waterproof even under high pressure. However, prolonged high pressure may eventually cause leaks.
- 15,000 mm: The ski suit is resistant to heavy snow showers and keeps you dry even underwater.
Make sure the ski suit you bring is breathable and offers good ventilation. This will help you avoid overheating, and if you do get too warm, moisture will be wicked away to the outside. In short, the waterproof layer should allow moisture to escape from the inside out but not the other way around.
Tip
For the best freedom of movement, it’s important to choose a ski suit in the correct size. Check the corresponding size chart to determine which size you need.
