During Sports

Club and country clothing comes in many varieties, from well-known Dutch clubs to top international teams. For example, you might choose a training shirt from Ajax or a tracksuit from Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona, Chelsea, or Atletico Madrid. If you plan to use the clothing for training, opt for fabrics that are not 100% cotton. Cotton absorbs moisture but does not wick it away, making the clothing wet and heavy. It's better to choose clothing that is made partly or entirely from polyester. Polyester wicks moisture away quickly, keeping the clothing dry and comfortable to wear.

Technologies

There are various technologies designed to speed up moisture wicking. New Balance’s NB Dry technology ensures that the clothing remains dry and comfortable. Other brands offer similar technologies, such as Adidas’s ClimaLite and Nike’s Dri-Fit.

Clothing can also be worn during leisure time. Show your support for teams like Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Liverpool, or Juventus. For non-sporting activities, cotton clothing is recommended for its comfort, although it is less effective at moisture wicking.

Tip

Freedom of movement is crucial during training. Check the size chart carefully to find your correct size.

Wash the clothing immediately after use; sweat can deteriorate the moisture-wicking properties if left unwashed for too long. Don’t wait more than one day to wash it. Also, avoid washing in too hot water—40 degrees Celsius is the maximum. Do not use fabric softener as it can damage the clothing.
