Ankle Brace for Running

Running is a very popular sport in the Netherlands. This is not surprising, of course, as it’s easy to get started and doesn’t require much equipment! However, running is also a sport that is prone to injuries. Your ankles (and knees) take a significant impact with every step, and that’s where things can go wrong... Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. Do you have an ankle injury? Make sure to rest properly and allow your ankle to heal completely. Once you're ready to start running again, consider wearing an ankle brace, as your ankle may have become slightly weaker due to the injury. An ankle brace provides stability to the ankle and helps prevent re-injury.

Ankle braces are available in various levels of protection. In this classification, level 1 braces are the most flexible, while level 3 braces are the stiffest. The higher the protection level, the more support and stability the brace offers.
